Here's part 2 of my (very) short tutorial on how to paint a Bastiladon.
Just to mention this is a short tutorial which I describe the order on how I paint stuff and in which order.
Skinks
1. Basecoat eyes with Averland Sunset
2. Give the eyes a 1 layer wash of Carroburg Crimson
3. Let the wash dry and move on to the skin
4. Apply a thinned down layer of Baneblade Brown/water (2:1) to the skin. Make sure the whole surface is white before doing so.
5. Apply Deathworld Forest to the fins on top of their heads.
6. Wash the entire model with Agrax Earthshade. Use more wash in the recesses of the muscles. Be gentle with it's eyes, apply a very thin layer of wash so the Carroburg Crimson can be seen through it.
7. After the wash dries switch to it's eyes.
8. Highlight eyes with Balor Brown
9. Final highlight using Dessert Yellow. Note: if you accidentally messed up the highlight by spilling excess paint on the edges, use Agrax Earthshade to correct it.
10. Paint the pupil with Abbadon Black.
11. Highlight the fin using Deathworld Forest.
12. Highlight the skin using Baneblade Brown
13. As for the tongue, paint it in the same way as I did with the Bastiladon using Daemonette Hide, Warpfiend Grey and Slaaneshi Grey.
14. Move on to the scales.
15. Use Squig Orange as basecoat
16. Apply Reikland Fleshshade
17. Highlight the edges of the scales with Squig Orange.
